He brings more than 17 years of experience serving in various leadership roles with companies across the industrial spectrum.
In his new role, McClain will lead the development of enterprise-wide, people-focused programs in alignment with AIS’s vision to build an enduring, employee-centric, customer-focused industrial services provider.

McClain joins AIS from Stanley Black & Decker, where he served as vice president of Human Resources. During his tenure at Stanley, McClain was responsible for developing and deploying human capital strategies that enabled the achievement of key strategic imperatives, which led to higher employee satisfaction and productivity. Prior to Stanley, McClain held human resource leadership positions with Oshkosh Corporation, Royal Dutch Shell and ConocoPhillips.
He earned his Master of Science in Management from Texas A&M University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Baylor University.
