ASRC Industrial as a Diverse Supplier
ASRC Industrial was formed in 2016 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC).
ASRC is a for-profit Alaska Native corporation, created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Since its inception in 1972, ASRC is controlled by and represents the business interests of more than 14,000 Iñupiaq shareholders. ASRC provides dividends, employment, and charitable contributions that promote the economic well-being and cultural longevity of the North Slope Iñupiat.
As a result of this controlling interest, all our operating companies are certified Minority Business Enterprises. Many of our companies have additional diverse supplier advantages, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Small Business Enterprise, and Small Disadvantaged Business status, as a subcontractor on federal projects or to a prime contractor for purposes of their diversity goals. In addition, our enterprise includes six 8(a)-certified companies.
Contracting with ASRC Industrial companies can help our clients meet diversity spending objectives, while also helping improve quality of life for Alaska Native communities.
